1. Introduction
(i) Please read these terms and conditions carefully. We will not keep a file copy specifically linked to your transaction and can't guarantee that previous versions will be accessible on our website in the future.
(ii) When you buy from our website, we are legally required to supply goods in conformity with the contract. Nothing stated below affects your statutory rights in relation to goods that are faulty, not as described, or otherwise.
(iii) You can ask advice about your rights from your local Trading Standards Office or Citizens' Advice Bureau.
(iv) We may change these terms and conditions at any time by posting a new version on our website or, if substantial changes are made, by emailing a copy to you. Please check new versions carefully as they will apply to any recurring Kiss of Wine subscription orders.
2. Age verification
(i) By creating an account, placing a one-off order or signing up to a Kiss of Wine subscription you are confirming that you are 18 or older. It is illegal for us to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18.
(ii) If our delivery partners are in any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, they will request some form of ID. If the person receiving the wine is unable to produce appropriate ID, unfortunately we will be unable to leave the wine.
3. Minor variations in goods
(i) Products offered by us are displayed on our website in 'real time' and often come from tiny, family-run vineyards! We'll do our best to avoid it, but any product may be withdrawn from offer without notice.
(ii) If for some reason we are unable to fulfil your exact order, we reserve the right to substitute with similar wines of at least the same value. If this happens, we'll notify you via email.
4. Orders
(i) Our wines are available to purchase with a minimum of 6 cans in our "Shop" section of our website.
(ii) Delivery costs and timings for one-off orders will be clearly stated in the checkout.
5. Cookies
(i) Like most websites, Kiss of Wine uses "cookies". These are small snippets of text that are stored on your computer, and without them we wouldn't be able to know that you are the same person from page to page.
(ii) We use cookies for a variety of reasons, such as remembering the contents of your basket and for our website analytics software, which allows us to track and measure patterns of behaviour so that we can improve our website.
(iii) We also have partnerships with some carefully chosen third party services which involve including some code on our website, for example to enable you to invite friends to join the service. In some cases these partners may also store and retrieve their own cookies on your computer. Cookies set by websites other than www.kissofwine.com are known as "third party cookies".
(iv) In accordance with the Directive on Privacy and Electronic Communications 2003 and General Data Protection Regulation 2018 (GDPR), we can provide more information on the cookies in use on our website upon request.
